About Aspire For Adventure

I’m a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and Certified Personal Trainer based in Edmonds, WA. I provide in-person and online personal training for clients in Edmonds, Lynnwood, Everett, Mill Creek, and surrounding areas, helping adults build strength, improve fitness, and stay active long-term.

Fitness, movement, and outdoor adventure have been a major part of my life for over 20 years. I graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in Health & Fitness Management, where I competed as a collegiate swimmer on the NMU Swim Team and qualified for the Olympic Trials. My background in competitive athletics later led me to compete in Ironman triathlons throughout Southeast Asia and Australia while continuing to build experience in strength training, endurance sports, and fitness coaching.

Along with my fitness background, I also earned degrees in Elementary Education and Physical Therapy, giving me experience in coaching, communication, rehabilitation, and movement-based training. I currently work as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in both outpatient orthopedic and home health settings, helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall function through individualized exercise progression and practical movement strategies.

I’m also the owner of Aspire for Adventure, where I provide one-on-one personal training in clients’ homes, apartment gyms, local fitness centers, and online through structured coaching programs. In addition to in-home and online training, I provide personal training sessions at Bay Club in Edmonds.

My experiences living, teaching, and traveling overseas have also shaped the way I approach fitness and adventure. While teaching in Singapore, I spent time trekking in Nepal, backpacking through New Zealand, and traveling throughout Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and other parts of the world. During summers, I worked as a wilderness trip leader in the United States and Canada, leading outdoor trips and helping others build confidence through adventure and physical challenge.

Over the years, I’ve taught strength training, bootcamp, TRX, and functional fitness classes while continuing to train for hiking, trail running, endurance events, and my own outdoor adventures. My background in rehabilitation, athletics, endurance sports, and personal training allows me to take a practical and well-rounded approach focused on helping people move better, build strength, improve fitness, and stay consistent long-term.

Whether training takes place at home, in the gym, or online, the goal is to create realistic, effective training programs that fit real life and support long-term health, strength, and performance.
